Howdy do folks! Today's post is inspired by this week's Top Ten Tuesday prompt. There are so many books out there, that I think are so under appreciated. But for this post I looked at books which I loved that had 5000 or less ratings on Goodreads. So I will post these books from most ratings, to least ratings. With that said, lets get into it!
I LOVED this story. It made me feel so many emotions while reading it, and it's not often a book can do that. This story is about Kate whose best friend Rachel has suddenly died, leaving behind 4 (??) children and a husband (Shane). Kate drops everything and steps in to co-parent with Shane while he is away in the army. It's really hard to sell this story to people given its sad premise, but it is SUCH an amazing story.
I don't read much other than contemporary, however this is one of the historical fiction novels that I loved! This story is about recently orphaned Pierrot, who is going to live with his Aunt. His Aunty however, just so happens to be a servant at a wealthy household a.k.a. HITLERS HOME!!! This story shows the boys interactions with that thing, and it shows how easily children can be manipulated. Such an interesting story, definitely recommend!
While this is the fourth (and last) book in the Burying Water series it can definitely be read as a stand alone novel (which I did). However I do also recommend reading the whole series because it is amazing, but Surviving Ice was probably my favourite. I can't explain the story without giving away spoilers but I will say that Ivy (the main character) is such a likable character and the love interest is just so. damn. hot. Like honestly, if you're looking for a new book boyfriend, look no further holy hot damn!!
