This is a new segment I plan on doing where I recommend 2 or more books based off of each other, that I think if you liked one, you will most definitely like the other. Basically it's a "if you liked _____ you will like _____" and I really like these sorts of recommendations so I hope you all do too!
So obviously you already know what books I'm recommending by now, unless your internet is as slow as mine and the pictures haven't loaded yet. In which case, this will be a complete surprise!
Anyway, I read First Love way back when in 2013 and I absolutely loved it. I practically inhaled that book, and if I’m still thinking about it today it must have been good! I'm pretty sure it was also the first book I ever read in one sitting, so yay for accomplishments.
First Love was the first book (see what I did there?) to really catch me by surprise and I’ve always remembered the moment when I realised what was happening in the book. It was just such a great reading experience for me, and I experienced that with Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour as well (not the being shocked part though).
Basically, both of these books are about Road Trips across America during the summer. I feel like they are both so similar yet so different at the same time. I can guarantee if you liked Amy & Roger you will enjoy First Love (and vice versa). They are both Young Adult contemporary novels set in America. Even the covers look similar! And don't be put off by the fact that James Patterson wrote it. I know that he gets a lot of flack about his novels but this one is very well written (obviously or I wouldn't be recommending it) so just check it out!
These two are literally the only road trip books I've read, so if you have any recommendations let me know!
P.S. I've noticed in the emails they have been sending several posts in the one email. Sorry about that, I don't know how to fix it though so if it still does it it may just be a new feature of mine. #YOLO
