How do you fix a love that’s been broken beyond repair?
For years, Cassie Taylor tried to forget about Ethan Holt. He was the one great love of her life, and when he failed to return her love, a part of her died forever. Or so she thought. Now she and Ethan are sharing a Broadway stage, and he’s determined to win her back. Claiming to be a changed man, he’s finally able to say all the things she needed to hear years ago, but can she believe him? What makes this time different from all his other broken promises?
Ethan knows he can’t change their tumultuous past, but if he’s going to have any chance of being with the woman he loves, he’ll need to convince Cassie that her future belongs with him.
First things first (I'm the realest), I still really loved this book! However I do think that the mystery of it all was drawn out way too long!
There were quite a few swoon worthy scenes in here, which my heart thoroughly enjoyed. And it was just as sexy as the first one! I loved seeing Ethan as a whole new person and I felt like they dealt with everything very realistically, considering the circumstances.
Again, I really liked reading from present day and from 4-3 years earlier as it just gave a really good background to the story. It was done incredibly well in my opinion, sometimes books told in two different times of someones life can be a bit dodgy, but I felt like it transitioned really well and it wasn't choppy at all.
I don't really have anything else to say, mostly because I've forgotten specific moments and I can just recall that I felt very happy reading this (for the most part). I definitely didn't enjoy it the same way I enjoyed Bad Romeo, but I still loved it and I loved reading more about Ethan and... I've completely drawn a blank on her name... Cassie!!
But yes, if you're looking for a really great New Adult series/duology definitely check out these two books!! Not for the kiddies though! Unless you want to... But probably not if you're under 16, or under 13. Is there even anyone under 13 reading this? If so.. Stay in school, don't do drugs and brush your teeth twice a day! Also don't read this book. Except if you're one of those 13 year old's who is pregnant because then you probably know it all anyway! I should really sleep.
