It was a decent reading month for me. The last book I read, Moonlight on Nightingale Way, was finished in December but I read the majority of it this month so I'm counting it towards November. Anyway, I really enjoyed the majority of books I read which is amazing! I especially loved the On Dublin Street series which I absolutely smashed through! I am now planning on reading all of Samantha Young's other books in December because I loved these so damn much!
Wait (Bleeding Stars #4) by A. L. Jackson
I listened to this on Audible and I didn't realise it was the 4th in a companion series. While it can be read as a stand alone, I feel like I would have enjoyed it more reading the others first. I did enjoy the story and I enjoyed the characters. I'm not sure if it's high on my TBR but I do hope to read the rest of the series one day.
*Hit the Spot (Dirty Deeds #2) by J. Daniels
This book releases on the 10th of December and you can expect to see my full review and excerpt on the 6th of December. I will say though, that I really enjoyed this book!
Rule (Marked Men #1) by Jay Crownover
I really enjoyed this series, however I feel like it was too tattoo and "bad boy" focused that I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked. Don't get me wrong I loved the story, but as someone who isn't into tattoos and such all that much, I'm not sure I'll continue the series.
On Dublin Street (On Dublin Street #1) by Samantha Young
Oh my god! I listened to this on Audible and I was hooked from the get go! I had heard of the book before but I didn't think it would be something I liked, but I was so wrong! I loved this so much. The relationships (both romantic and platonic) in this story were just beautifully written, and the complications in the story were so realistic and made the reading experience that much more enjoyable.
Down London Road (On Dublin Street #2) by Samantha Young
Again, I loved this story. Not quite as much as the first one as there were a few things about the main character that I didn't like. I would have liked to have seen more relationship development rather than just physical stuff, but all in all I really enjoyed the story and the plot line of this book.
Before Jamaica Lane (On Dublin Street #3) by Samantha Young
This story was my favourite out of the whole series! I loved Olivia from the moment I met her in book 2, and Nate is just an amazing fictional human! Their story of friends to more was done so well and I loved seeing their relationship develop. I don't know how realistic it was, but I loved it all the same. I honestly feel like I could read that story again right now I loved it that much!
Fall from India Place (On Dublin Street #4) by Samantha Young
I was very disappointed in this story. You meet the main character (Hannah) in book one, but you get an idea of her relationship with Marco in book 2 and 3 and as I liked hearing about their relationship then I thought I would like the book. But I just didn't connect with them at all. I thought their story line was boring and lacked interest. What conflict they did have I thought was extremely immature and I just didn't agree with it at all. I didn't hate it, but the only reason I will give this 3 stars is for the fact we get to see all the other characters in it.
Echoes of Scotland Street (On Dublin Street #5) by Samantha Young
I was worried I would feel the same for this as I did Hannah's story, however I loved it! Not my favourite but it was very close! I have loved Cole since we met him in book #2 and I loved seeing the sort of man he grew into. This book was very sweet, and again I liked seeing everyone else again. The plot line was interesting and I loved the dynamics between Cole and Shannon.
Moonlight on Nightingale Way (On Dublin Street #6) by Samantha Young
THE FINAL BOOK! I was so sad to see this series end, but I loved Logan and Grace so much! I will admit, Grace's story line didn't really interest me much, but Logan made up for that. Their relationship did seem a bit unrealistic but I really enjoyed reading it so it didn't bother me as much.
