I find it really hard to explain how I feel about this book. I mean, I liked it but at the same time I hate it. This is the second book in the After series by Anna Todd and it follows the same two characters (Tessa and Hardin), doing pretty much the same thing as in the first book. Sorry, it’s in dot points because I just can’t think well enough to form proper sentences right now.

Things I disliked:
What really irks me is that I like Hardin. He’s probably the worst character who is just outright ridiculous but I just can’t help it. I think this is what Anna Todd was trying to achieve though. It’s kind of like the book Stolen by Lucy Chirstopher in the way that, you start to like her captor and experience Stockholm syndrome. That’s probably a terrible analogy but what I’m trying to say is, it kind of gives you the perspective from someone in an abusive relationship. How they know what they’re experiencing is wrong but they can’t leave because they still love them? Still a terrible analogy but that’s kind of what I’ve taken from the book.
This is definitely a book that I love to hate. I’m not sure if I will continue the series. I want to know what happens to them but I don’t think I can sit through over 1000 pages to find out.
And that concludes my shortest and probably shittiest review ever. #sorrynotsorry
