A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love comes with conditions: they agree it will only last one hour and it will only be make-believe.
When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them only seemed perfect because they were pretending it was perfect. Moments like that with girls like her don’t happen outside of fairytales.
One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in insta-love is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. Daniel soon realizes the way he pretended to feel about Cinderella and the way he really feels about Six may not be so different after all. Especially when the two loves of his life end up being one in the same.
Unfortunately for Daniel, finding Cinderella doesn’t guarantee their happily ever after…it only further threatens it.
I. Loved. This. Book. This is one of the best novellas I've ever read. Even though it was so short, I was so invested in the characters and the story. It was incredible.
I absolutely loved Daniel. I loved him in Hopeless and I loved him even more in Losing Hope, but it was just on a whole new level in Finding Cinderella. He is such a witty, sarcastic, character but there's so much more to him than that, which you don't see in Hopeless and Losing Hope. Six was also a great character and was absolutely perfect for Daniel.
I also love the fact that even though this book is so short, Colleen Hoover still manages to mix some heartbreak in there. I don't know if I'm just off my game or what, but I did not see that twist coming at all.
I don't have anything else to add about this, mainly because it was so amazing but partly because I've forgotten because I read this over a week ago. I will always recommend Colleen Hoover's books, but I would highly recommend you read Finding Cinderella. For those of you who have yet to read any of Hoover's books, this would be the perfect one to start with. It's short and sweet, and best of all it's free on iBooks.
