I probably should have done this in June, as a mid-year thing but nah. Anyway for those of you who are interested, here are the top 5 books I've read in 2015 (so far). For those of you who aren't interested... here are the top 5 books I've read in 2015 (so far). I'm just too funny. Anywho, I’ll link my reviews to the books mentioned, just click the title if you want to read them.
1. To All the Boys I’ve loved Before by Jenny Han
I read this a couple of months ago and I still remember how much I loved that book. I read it in one day and it was just amazing the way it was written and the feels it created. I loved the characters and the family aspect and romance and damn that was a good book!
2. The Lover’s Dictionary by David Levithan
This is extremely short but so amazing. It is literally a love story told through dictionary definitions. Like it would have a word for example ‘ambition’ and then it would describe some part of their relationship or something that has happened that defines ambition. It was just so sweet and non-gender specific so it was so interesting. I literally read this in less than 2 hours.
3. The Selection by Kiera Cass
Holy moly wokamoly!! I read this not long ago and wowsers my trousers was I blown away or what? I flew through this series in less than a week. It was amazing; the world, the characters, the story and the romance. It was all wonderfully written and it captivated me completely.
4. Beautiful Secret by Christina Lauren
I just love all of Christina Lauren’s books because they are fantastic writers, and this is a fantastic example because boy do they know how to write New Adult! I thought it was an amazing addition to the Beautiful Bastard series and it just holds a warm place in my heart.
5. I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella
When I was thinking about my favourite books, I was looking on Goodreads at all my 5 star rating books and I realised some of those weren’t even my favourites. This book I think I gave 3.5 stars and honestly, I just love it. There were obviously reasons at the time why I gave it 3.5 stars, but I always think about it fondly, and I really like the style of Sophie Kinsella’s writing.
So there we have it. Out of the 75 books I’ve read this year, there are my top 5! Let me know what your favourites are so that maybe I can find some new favourites of my own.
Also, welcome to my new subscribers! I'm getting pretty close to 100 which is pretty damn exciting for me to be honest!
