I haven't done a Top Ten Tuesday in soooo long!! Which is ridiculous because at the start of the year I'm pretty sure I'd do them every week...
Yeah... sorry about that. Anywho, moving right along. I saw this week's theme, and even though I am late (it's Tuesday as I'm writing this, but it won't be when you're reading it), I wanted to do it. Also, my friend doesn't seem to think I can get to 10, so this is also to prove her wrong, HA! Also these are in order from least favourite, to favourite :)
F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Who doesn't love FRIENDS? Really? It's not my all time favourite, especially now that I have newer shows to watch, but it will always be one of my favourite shows! I don't think I've seen all of the episodes in order, but I'm fairly sure I've seen them all. I don't think I need to explain what FRIENDS is... Joey was my favourite though. Who doesn't love Joey? Although I relate to Chandlers sarcasm so, so well.
Full House! When I was younger I used to be obsessed with anything Mary Kate and Ashley. I was more into their movies, but I discovered Full House in high school and really enjoyed it. Wasn't a huge fan of the last couple of seasons though.. I'm not actually sure I've seen after season 4 actually. I have seen the last episode though and I was not impressed. My fave was deffs Stephanie!
I love a good FBI type show, and Criminal Minds is my favourite! I haven't caught up with the last two seasons, but I love Criminal Minds! I don't really understand why because it's so gory and scary (to me), but I find it so interesting! I swear to God Garcia and Morgan better get together. Also, Spencer is my fave. And JJ. And Morgan. And Garcia. And Hotch. I just like them all ok?!
Gilmore Girls. I don't think I need to explain this one. This was a favourite of mine when I was younger, and it still is (obviously, since it's in this list). Although I can see why some people don't like it, I still enjoy watching it. I can't WAIT for the new mini series to come out!
One of my newest favourites is Outlander. I'm sure you know, but in case you don't, Outlander is about Clare, who somehow gets sent back in time to Scotland in the 1700s. There she meets Jamie Fraser and a wholeeeee lot of stuff goes down! I find it's really interesting, and I learn a lot about history which is nice! As you can probably gather, this isn't the kind of show that I usually like, so I was not expecting to like it as much as I do. I haven't caught up with season 2 yet as I'm waiting for it to come out on Netflix because I NEED SUBTITLES! Seriously I can barely understand what they're saying without them.
In the number 5 spot is One Tree Hill! If you didn't know, One Tree Hill follows the lives of Lucas and Nathan (half brothers) and all the people in their lives. It starts off in high school and it takes them all the way through until, I don't know their late 20s early 30s? Either way, this is one of those shows that has everything and the characters are all so diverse with such unique storylines! I find it really hard to pick favourites out of these characters, but I really did love Brooke and Lucas!
Parenthood!!! This show was amazing I just can't even! I would say it's like a more dramatised/serious version of Modern Family. It follows the lives of four siblings and their families. It's got drama, romance, comedy... literally everything. Except maybe horror. My favourites were definitely Joel and Julia, they had the most interesting storyline out of all of them I think!
Packed to the Rafters is like the Australian version of Parenthood and I don't know which one I loved more! I put this show in the number 3 spot only becase I watched it more recently. I loved all the characters and it was just hilarious. I think Rachel and Jake were my favourites, followed closely by Coby! Man he was hilarious! I do think they should have stopped the series in season 5, as by then nearly all the main characters had left and it was no where near as good, but was still a great show!
Grey's Anatomy has been my favourite show for a LONG damn time. Actually, not even that long. I started watching it in my first year of uni (2013) and since then I've watched it 3 times? or twice? I can't even remember. But damn it's good! George is/was my favourite character, but I'm still not ready to talk about that. If you haven't seen Grey's Anatomy yet, I highly recommend it. I recently converted my Mum and she smashed through all 12 seasons in like a month. I'm not even going to explain what it's about, because you'll find out when you watch it. And let's just ignore season 11.
And my number one favourite show (at the moment) is Nashville. I just can't even with Nashville right now. I'm watching it for the second time around because season 4 just finished and I was having withdrawls. If you're thinking it's not for you because you don't like country music, or just music type shows in general, then you're wrong. Yes, it's about country music but it's so much more than that. Honestly, if you like any other shows on this list I can almost guarantee that you will like Nashville. My favourites are Juliette (season 1-3 because she's gone cray in season 4 man) and Avery!
So that was longer than I expected, I got a tad carried away! I'd love to know your favourite TV shows! Let me know, or if you've already done this post on your blog, send me the link :) Tally ho!
